ELECTROLYSIS OVERVIEW

Diathermy epilation is the permanent removal of unwanted hair using a short-wave diathermy current.  This current creates heat, which is delivered to the hair at the root. 

The initial consultation will involve the therapist assessing the skin condition and the hair growth. Then a treatment plan will be identified for the clients individual needs.   A new Individual pre-sterilised needle is used in each treatment. 

Treatment duration can vary from 15 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the area being treated.
